HAMMURABI'S DEATHHammurabi died in 1750 BC in Babylon, Iraq. He grew ill in the last years of his life and gave his son the position of king. His son was not able to keep the kingdom together therefore it was invaded and renamed.

His Legacy
Hammurabi is still well remembered to this day. He is well known for his Code (His laws) and for reuniting Mesopotamia. He was a cherished ruler for his deeds and laws. His idea of setting laws for the people demonstrates his care for justice and how he wants to improve a vast majority of lives.
